The firm of BAGIRA-Moden GmbH was founded in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, in 1991 as a supplier for the textile industry. Production was focussed on manufacturing collections of samples for well-known German textile companies. Through this production BAGIRA-Moden acquired extensive know-how as to design, material properties and processing quality. Thus, for more than a decade, protective clothing for the police and military has been developed and manufactured in collaboration with a partner organisation. Functional clothing collections similarly. The highest product quality and absolute adherence to delivery deadlines have become the hallmark of BAGIRA-Moden GmbH.

Under the registered trademark BAGIRATEX, the product programme of BAGIRA-Moden GmbH has now been subdivided into individual lines:

• PROTEC – protective clothing for police, military, security services, etc.
• PROVIT – functional clothing for leisure, sport and work
• PROSAN – functional clothing for the health sector
• PROWORK – occupational clothing for police, fire service, etc.

Moreover, all the fabrics and trimmings that are used by BAGIRA-Moden in its manufacturing process have been checked for harmful substances and carry the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 quality seal.
